what are all the diffrent search engine????

With AOL in the news for releasing search results for people who have used thier search engine to look for stuff and Yahoo, Google and the like saving info on every web search people do, I ask, is there ANY search engine web site that does not save data on web searches done on thier web site? Or will I have to one day explain why I looked up dog poo to the goverment? (If there are none that protect the privacy of web searches done by people now would be a good time to start one and watch the money pile up…dontcha think?) Side note to yahoo…I have done my last search on your website.)

As many backlinks as possible, PageRank (also known as PR) is mainly effected by the amount of other pages with a high PR backlinking you; also meta and keyword use is important. Creating sitemaps and submiting them to google and on your site allowing engine robots to crawl will drasicly increase your visability. Also know that newer domains are not as recognized as older ones, there is a period of time which your domain has to be active and updated and often crawled by search spiders.

You can try Google Webmasters. A really useful tool I used to use. I’m currently transferring my website right now so I can’t use it.

There are a few services that "score" your seo, but this doesn’t necessarily translate to you having a good ranking in the search engines.

Since there is no standard for scoring, I have seen services that "score" your website based on factors that really have nothing to do with today’s SEO standards. They are using antiquated factors just to get your business.

So you must be careful about who you are trusting to "score" your website.

Like anything, you should have a good basic knowledge of the SEO factors before you hire one of the many companies saying they will optimize your page.

If you truly want to know the basics yourself, so that the "experts" don’t rip you off, the best place I know is with Pat Marcello. She does all the SEO for multi millionaire marketer Tellman Knudson.

She can teach anyone the basics that you really should know before you start trusting the people who "score" your website.
